Memorial Day: Murph and BBQ
Come join us on Monday, May 27th when we will be celebrating Memorial Day with the workout Murph. Murph is a workout named after Michael Murphy was was killed in Afghanistan in 2005. This workout was one of his favorites. The workout starts with a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and finishes with another mile run. The pull-ups, push-ups, and squats can be partitioned anyhow, and if you have a weight vest, wear it.
After the workout we will start firing up the BBQ at about 12:30pm, and will have food and drinks until about 3:30pm. This will be potluck style, so please bring whatever you would like. Everyone is welcome, but please register ahead of time.
